2. Florida Motor Vehicle Repair Act Compliance

- Estimates: For repairs exceeding $100, you have the right to a written estimate. We will not exceed the estimate by more than $10 or 10%, whichever is greater (up to $50), without your prior authorization.
- Registration: Both entities are registered with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS). Our registration numbers are available upon request and posted at our service location. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
3. Locksmith Services & Identification
- Ownership Proof: In accordance with Florida consumer protection guidelines, we require valid government-issued photo ID and proof of ownership before performing any lockout or key-related services.
- Licensing: Our locksmiths are licensed and will provide professional identification upon arrival. [1, 2, 3]
4. ECU & Module Refund Policy (15-Day Window)
All ECU/module sales are subject to a 15-day return period from the date of delivery.

- Voided Refunds: Refunds are strictly void if the unit has been bricked, shorted, water damaged, or subject to a programming error by an external party.
- Proof of Failure: Customers must provide documented diagnostic proof of failure from a qualified technician for a refund to be considered.
- Returns for No-Need: If returning a functioning unit because it is no longer needed, the customer must pay for return shipping. The product must be received in the exact same condition as originally shipped.
5. Payment & Storage Fees
- Payment: Full payment is due upon completion of services.
- Storage: Under Florida Statute 559.905, we may charge daily storage fees if a vehicle is not picked up within three working days of notification that repairs are complete. [1]

Sun Auto Electric is not responsible for pre-existing internal damage to electronic modules that may result in failure during standard programming or flashing procedures. We do not warranty parts supplied by the customer. []

7. Dispute Resolution
Any legal action must be filed in the courts of the Florida county where the business is registered or the services were performed.
